Happy 4th of July!

These new beads remind me of fireworks!

I always miss home on the 4th of July. It's when my little hometown is at it's most quaint. Starting with the parade down main street in the morning. Followed by an afternoon of grilling, watermelon and sparklers. Finished off with the beach and fireworks display at night.

I'm counting down the days until I can go home. 10, in fact. I'm off for the day. Heading to the market to buy some strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream! Then it's a day with family and friends. I'll be back tomorrow with Studio Saturday at the Art Bead Scene and more new beads!

Are you online today? Leave a comment and I'll draw a name for one of my new beads tomorrow morning! (sorry, the contest is now over.)

Hi Heather! Love the color of the new beads!
I am around today...at home. No big plans. Our neighbors invited us over tonight for a barbecue! So Sweet of them, it's so nice to live in a nice close-knit neighborhood!
:) Hope you have a great holiday!

Pretty beads!

The 4th of July isn't a holiday here, so I don't have any special plans for the day. I hope you have fun!

Happy 4th, Heather! As always, I love the beads and those are my favorite color. We're staying home this year, floating and sipping and eating. Y'all stay safe and have fun whatever you do!

Happy 4th. Yup, I'm online this morning but later today I'm off to Angel Stadium in Anaheim California. After the game they have an awesome firework show. Your work is so beautiful. Have a happy day, try not to miss home too much. Sounds like your making a yummy red, white and blue dessert!

Happy 4th! San Francisco is typically chilly and overcast on the 4th and today is no different. Well, the sun is peeking out now but it won't last!

I love these beads! they are fab!

Hi Heather, I just love these new beads the colors are just right. It is to bad you couldn't make it to your hometown for the 4th. I live in a small town here in Mi. and they had an awesome parade this year, with one of my nephews being the grand marshal. It was pretty cool. I hope you had a great 4th.

Thanks everyone! I loved reading your comments and how you were going to celebrate the day. We had a great time. Way too much food. Someone brought homemade lemon cake, yum! We walked to the park to watch the fireworks. Despite the rain during the day, we had a great time!

Jennifer, thanks! I'm going to post about the article tomorrow.

Rosanne, i'm totally jealous!!!

Linda, what part of Michigan are you in? I wish we could move back, I love Lake Mighigan. I can't wait to go home!
